Deleting a Customer Ship-To Address
A customer ship-to address is added to a customer. When it is added to a customer, it may be referenced in a picking order.
Restriction to Deleting a Customer
When it is referenced in a picking order, it cannot be deleted.
How to Delete a Customer Ship-To Address
You are able to remove a ship-to address from a customer if it is not associated with an order. To delete a customer ship-to address only, follow these steps.
- Select Manage > Customer to reach the Manage Customers page.
- and the customer with the ship-to address that needs deleted.
- Click the Expand icon to the left of this customer.
- The customer's ship-to address list is displayed.
- Click the Delete icon to the right.
- A warning prompt appears.
- Select OK to close the prompt and delete the ship-to address.
- If this customer ship-to address is not on any orders, you are returned to the Ship To Addresses nested grid; the address has been removed.
- If this customer ship-to address is on an order, a message appears: "This ship-to address is on orders. You must first delete the orders to delete this ship-to address." Click OK to close the message. You are returned to the Ship-To Addresses nested grid. The ship-to address remains.
- To close the prompt and cancel deleting this ship to address, click Cancel. You are returned to the Ship-To Addresses nested grid; the address remains.
- Select OK to close the prompt and delete the ship-to address.
